The Fairytale Wedding

Paree & Adrian are a beautiful, young and creative couple that we had the pleasure to work with to create a luxurious fairytale wedding. Their love and their elegant style will remain forever in our hearts and we are sure that they will be forever together!!

We working together one year before the wedding and arranged every detail for what turned out to be one the most amazing events we prepared this year!

Everyone looked absolutely beautiful, it seemed like we were in a fashion editorial! We loved their idea to have a white dress code, it was perfect for summer and also for island weather!

 Vangelis, one of the most exclusive and professional photographers captured this wonderful wedding with his great passion and talent! As always, he did an amazing job capturing all of their beauty and special moments, which will for sure be kept as exceptional memories by our sweet couple!

 The videographers came from Australia and produced an amazing video with 3 days of footage, including their cruise with all the guests. This video was displayed during the reception and we could tell everyone enjoyed it. Thank you I Do Cinema for capturing these memories for everybody!

The traditional Orthodox ceremony was in honor of Paree's Greek heritage, which took place in St. George's church in the village of Oia. The church is very beautiful with its creating a moving scenario for our dear couple to exchange their vows.

The guests’ breath was taken away at the view of Paree walking towards the Church through Oia’s typical central marble-paved street, accompanied by a small Greek band playing by her side and also by a donkey properly dressed for the occasion.

 The bride’s dress was just stunning and also very creative, matching perfectly the bride’s own style! It was made by Paolo Sebastian, an Australian Couturier. Once she arrived at the reception she removed the first layer of the dress revealing a very elegant mermaid shaped dress that allowed her to dance all night and still look like a princes!

The reception was filled with young people and they had a great time dancing and celebrating at Rocabella’s Venue around the pool area with an amazing view to the caldera cliff, also the decoration amplified the natural surroundings with a classical white flower theme with details of green. It looked very elegant matching the couple’s good taste and Santorini’s natural beauty.

When the sun was down, we had fountain fireworks beside the pool and it created a beautiful scene for their first dance, the photos of Vangelis speak for themselves.

As wedding planners, we are very glad to have worked with this amazing couple to create this special day, it was a lot of fun and we loved the results!

This very elegant and sweet couple exchanged their vows in a moving ceremony at Santa Irini venue.

Leigh's minimalistic and chic style was very inspiring and we absolutely loved the result! The decoration blended in with Santorini's natural beauty creating a romantic and dreamy atmosphere.

We cannot forget to mention the cheerful and lovely bridesmaids. Their classy dresses created a beautiful contrast with our famous Santorini blue sky and white architecture.

When we met our dear couple over a year ago, we visited a few venues for the party reception and when we arrived in Theros Wave Bar... let's just say it was love at first sight! 

Their recepetion beautiful and it included traditional Greek music!

Everyone enjoyed the fabulous and artistic wedding cake decorated with Hydrangeas and the view was breathtaking!

The warm day allowed the children to enjoy themselves at the beach below Theros wave Bar while the grownups had their party.

Γάμοι Αράβων στο ηλιοβασίλεμα της Οίας

«Μαμπρούκ!»  (συγχαρητήρια) αναφωνούν περιχαρείς οι καλεσμένοι στους νεόνυμφους, ενώ ο ήλιος δύει. Βρισκόμαστε στην Οία της Σαντορίνης και το ζευγάρι αυτή τη φορά δεν προέρχεται ούτε από τις ΗΠΑ ούτε από την Απω Ανατολή, αλλά από τη Μέση Ανατολή. «Οι Αραβες προστίθενται στο μακρύ κατάλογο των αλλοδαπών που ονειρεύονται να παντρευτούν στο νησί» αναφέρει στην «Κ» η Φραντσέσκα Τσεμπέλη, ιδιοκτήτρια μαζί με τη Sarah Carpenter της εταιρείας διοργάνωσης γάμων, the diamond rock, που απευθύνεται σε αραβόφωνους. Η νέα «τάση» μετράει λίγα χρόνια, «έχουμε διοργανώσει την τελευταία διετία 15 αραβικούς γάμους» διευκρινίζει η νεαρή αρχιτέκτων, «οι πελάτες μας προέρχονταν από τα Εμιράτα, τη Σαουδική Αραβία, το Ομάν, την Αίγυπτο, το Ντουμπάι και τον Λίβανο. Πολλοί εξ αυτών έχουν σπουδάσει στην Ευρώπη ή προχωρούν σε μεικτό γάμο». Είναι οι διεθνείς κινηματογραφικές παραγωγές, όπως η Lara Croft, αλλά και η κατάταξη της Σαντορίνης στα κορυφαία νησιά διεθνώς που έκαναν το αιγαιοπελαγίτικο νησί γνωστό στους Αραβες. Ετσι, στα σοκάκια της Θήρας δεν απουσιάζουν οι πολυπληθείς αραβικές οικογένειες, οι φινετσάτες μαντίλες και οι κελεμπίες.

Γιατί, όμως, διανύουν τόσα μίλια για να παντρευτούν στη Σαντορίνη; «Eδώ έχουν τη δυνατότητα να κάνουν έναν πιο οικονομικό και πιο... ιδιωτικό γάμο» απαντά η κ. Τσεμπέλη, «στην πατρίδα τους συνηθίζεται να καλούν πάνω από 1.000 άτομα, ειδικά οι εύπορες οικογένειες». Η φιλοσοφία είναι «να καλούμε όσο το δυνατόν πιο πολύ κόσμο, ώστε να γνωστοποιηθεί το γεγονός» επισημαίνει η κ. Αμάνι Μπαρακάτ, που ως Αιγύπτια της... Σαντορίνης μεσολαβεί στη διοργάνωση των τελετών μεταξύ των δύο πολιτισμών. Φυσικά, ο γάμος ως προς το διαδικαστικό κομμάτι έχει ήδη γίνει στην πατρίδα τους, καθώς αν πραγματοποιηθεί στην Ελλάδα, δεν θα έχει ισχύ στη χώρα τους. Στη Σαντορίνη το maximum των καλεσμένων είναι σύμφωνα με τη wedding planner τα 200 άτομα, που για αραβικά δεδομένα είναι ένας «κλειστός» γάμος. «Εχει τύχει να έρθει μόνον το ζευγάρι ή οι μελλόνυμφοι με τις οικογένειές τους» θυμάται η κ. Τσεμπέλη. Αυτό, βέβαια, δεν συνεπάγεται απαραίτητα μειωμένο κόστος, αφού οι επιλογές τους μπορεί να είναι οι ανώτατες ποιοτικά.

«Εχουν αδυναμία στα λουλούδια και τα θέλουν παντού: στην ετοιμασία της νύφης, στη σουίτα του ζεύγους, στα τραπέζια της δεξίωσης». Πρόκειται, μάλιστα, για λουλούδια εκτός εποχής που παραγγέλνονται από την Ολλανδία.  «Δεν είναι, πάντως, απαιτητικοί πελάτες, τους αρέσουν οι ιδέες μας, στο τέλος γινόμαστε φίλοι».

Το ζεύγος φτάνει λίγες μέρες πριν από την τελετή και συνεχίζει με μήνα του μέλιτος. «Η τελετή γίνεται με το ηλιοβασίλεμα είτε με τους δύο δημοτικούς υπαλλήλους που εξειδικεύονται ή με κάποιον δικό τους celebrant, θρησκευτικό ή κοσμικό». Ωστόσο, αυτό το σκέλος γίνεται κυρίως για τις φωτογραφίες. Η έννοια των μελλόνυμφων αφορά την άριστη διεξαγωγή της δεξίωσης. Ο χορός και το τραγούδι συχνά φτάνει μέχρι πρωίας, «περισσότερο γλεντούν Λιβανέζοι, που είναι έξω καρδιά και μοιάζουν πολύ με εμάς». Μπορεί η δεξίωση να ξεκινάει με το καθιερωμένο βαλς, αλλά όσο ανάβει το κέφι οι επιλογές είναι καθαρά αραβικές, «γι’αυτό φέρνουν τον δικό τους dj». «Η ποιότητα του φαγητού αποτελεί προτεραιότητα για εμάς» εξηγεί η Αμάνι, «εξ ου και μένουν ενθουσιασμένοι από τα ελληνικά πιάτα, εκ των οποίων, πολλά, τους είναι οικεία».

Είναι πολλές οι λεπτομέρειες που «κερδίζουν» τους Αραβες και τους κάνουν να νιώθουν σαν το σπίτι τους. «Θυμάμαι την ευγνωμοσύνη ενός Σαουδάραβα πρίγκιπα, που είχε ναυλώσει ένα πουλμανάκι για τους συγγενείς του, προς τον Ελληνα οδηγό, όταν εκείνος του επέτρεψε να φάνε τα παιδιά μέσα στο όχημα» θυμάται η Αμάνι, «"στη Γαλλία δεν θα μου έδιναν ποτέ την άδεια για κάτι τέτοιο" σχολίασε». Προτού γυρίσουν στην πατρίδα τους και τα βάσανα του έγγαμου βίου, δεν είναι λίγοι αυτοί που αναζητούν να αγοράσουν κάποιο οικόπεδο ή βίλα στο νησί.

Pastel pink colored love!

The view of a loving and wonderful family can overshadows even the stunning beauty of Santorini!!!

Our beautiful couple, Trude and Per Morten exchanged vows of eternal love at the caldera during the sunset time in front of their children and loved ones and the scenery looked like a fairytale...

Her simple white wedding dress, the romantic and classy decoration with the pastel pink colored roses, the candles everywhere and their two little girls as her bridesmaids proved that real love doesn't need much to be beautiful!

 After the very emotional ceremony on the cliff of the caldera in Imerovigli, we had a glass of champagne and enjoyed the fabulous wedding cake decorated with roses, just before the photoshoot began. The view was amazing!

The wedding closed with a fantastic dinner at Astra on a private terrace for just the two of them. They loved it!

Silvia & Alberto

The ceremony of this lovely Colombian couple took place in their villa on Pyrgos village.

During the months of the preparation for their wedding,we understood that Silvia loves the yellow.
So we got her yellow!!!!

The decoration of the rustic table ceremony was matched of seasonal white and yellow Greek flowers in a vase full of slices of lemon.The all venue was inhale with lemon.

After some tears and laughs, time to cut the delicious cake!!!We choose a simple but elegant one with pearls details and of course a touch of yellow at the top could not be missing.

After the ceremony the cake and the champagne, they went to take picture in the small traditional path of Imerovigli village.

Walking down the village, the photographer took the photoshooting in one of the best spot of Imerovigli!! A mill house on the edge of the cliff!!One of our favorite picture!

We really took care so the photoshooting was at sunset and thank to God,the colors where incredible!!

They finished the wedding with a fantastic dinner at Astra on a private terrace.They loved it.
